BUMMER! drove an hour to come back here today because it was so good a few days ago. Different cook different waitress unpleasant experience. Should have known when we walked up and there was no line out the door. Apparently the locals know when not to come. Too busy visiting to bother taking the order correctly or seeing through correctly just a mishmash of a mess if you come here I sure hope you come on the right day

Platts' Bacon, diner style restaurant, great view of lake and the sun comes up beautiful- ly over it. They open at 6 AM. Staff is friendly and pleasant to each other and to guests. Truly an enjoyable place to eat breakfast or lunch. It is small but the size is no indication of any lack great food, because it is one of the best in the area.

Food is great, BUT the owners are scam artists. They prey on the elderly. They scammed my grandmother Maxine Hughey out of 5K. Sad part is is that they used to be very good friends of the family. If they are willing to do this to family then they will do it to anyone. These people can NOT be trusted!

Not too bad but it is a greasy spoon. Seems to be a popular breakfast destination for the locals. Most all their food is greasy off the griddle but the coffee is not good at all. What is good? Well I got what they are famous for, stuffed hash browns with cream cheese and your choice of protein and veggies. it was alright. Customer service could be better.

This is a great place for a delicious breakfast! We received very generous portions. I ordered the "Roasted Pecan Famous Cakes with Caramel Drizzle." They were fantastic!! The dining room is small, but the atmosphere is very friendly. After living in the area for two years and noticing how full the parking lot was every morning, we decided to stop. I'm so glad we did. We will definitely be back. Friendly staff, delicious food, and a clean dining room made for a great experience!

I originally put in a five-star with the immediate notes below. But I changed it after our second experience. Read to the bottom Food is fantastic! It's a small place so expect to wait, but it is definitely worth the wait. Lots of food at a reasonable price and very good food
